You don't have to give up your favourite foods

May 25, 2026 · 1 min read

The biggest fear people bring to me before starting isn’t the effort. It’s the food. “So now it’s chicken and broccoli every day, and no more wine?” No. That idea is exactly why so many people quit before they get anywhere.

No food is off-limits

Fat loss comes down to your overall pattern of eating over weeks — not any single meal, ingredient, or evening. There’s no food you must delete forever. There are only portions and frequency, and those we can work with.

That slice of pizza, the bread you love, a glass of wine on the weekend — they can all fit a plan that still moves you toward your goal. Balance beats bans every time, because balance is something you can actually live with.

”Special” products are mostly marketing

You don’t need protein powders, detox teas, fat-burners, or anything from a “diet” aisle. Normal food from your normal shop does the job. If a supplement is genuinely worth your money, I’ll tell you — but the honest answer is that most aren’t.

What “adjusting” really looks like

Instead of replacing your meals, we tweak them:

  • A bit more protein at breakfast so you’re not starving by noon.
  • The same dinner you love, with a portion that matches your goal.
  • A couple of swaps you won’t even notice after a week.

Small, boring, repeatable. That’s what keeps the weight off — not suffering, and definitely not giving up the foods that make eating worth it.
